Place was well-equipped and spacious and close to Cathedral of Funchal. The location was brilliant in the centre, and had everything you needed...

The flat was unique, only 5 minute walk from the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Assumption. The host made our stay COMFORTABLE. Rooms here were equipped with spacious balcony and twin beds plus bedroom 1. The building was spotlessly clean. It was marvellous and particularly good close to transport.

The location of this place is fantastic and we really enjoyed the setting.

The attention to detail, best equipped apartment, little extras like wine and cake on arrival, plenty of towels and toiletries, quirky artwork, brilliantly clean.

We had an amazing stay at Art House Funchalet! the location in the old town was perfect, and the hosts were so informative and welcoming. the house itself was quirky and full of interesting art, spanning across four floors. Our bedroom had a balcony overlooking the lively street below, and there was another smaller balcony at the top with stunning city views. With three toilets, one bath, and one shower room, we had no issues with sharing facilities. the kitchen was fully equipped, including a filter coffee machine. It truly felt like a home away from home. Everything was clean, new, and perfectly prepared. We highly recommend Art House Funchalet!

Stayed at a place with a kitchen so big I could get lost in it. And don't get me started on the dishwasher, I almost asked it to marry me. Free WiFi? More like "Free WiFi that actually works!" A rare find indeed.

Couldn't keep the windows open because heaven forbid a mosquito ruin my perfect stay. How dare they?

It is within walking distance of all the attractions, and the thoughtful touches such as a welcome pack and complimentary transfers enhance the overall experience. I recently stayed at Art House Funchalet during my transit in Funchal and was pleasantly surprised by a few features. the convenience of the hotel's location near the nearest airport, which was only 13 km away, made my travel experience more seamless. the property itself exuded an artistic charm, with unique artwork and a cozy atmosphere that made me feel at home during my short stay.

There were a few minor setbacks during my stay. The Wi-Fi in the rooms was not reliable, and I struggled to maintain a stable connection.

Always coming back here for my stay. Love the helpful staff who even treated my insect bite on my first visit. This place has everything I need - free Wi-Fi, electric kettle, airport shuttle, flat-screen TV. Perfect for my holiday.

My recent stay at Art House Funchalet was absolutely amazing. The attention to detail in the apartment was impeccable, providing everything I could possibly need. From the well-equipped kitchen to the abundance of towels and toiletries, they truly thought of everything. The little extras like a bottle of wine, a cake, and water upon arrival made me feel incredibly welcomed. The apartment was also brilliantly clean and the quirky artwork added a unique touch.

Although there were a few minor drawbacks mentioned in the reviews, such as noise from a nearby cafe and renovations happening in a shop below the apartment, these were beyond the control of the owners. It's important to note that the owners have taken care of every detail within their control to provide a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

We had an incredible stay in the heart of the charming old town. the spacious 4, storey house was immaculately clean and beautifully decorated with original artworks and traditional Madeiran tiles. We were impressed by the full, size toiletries and cleaning materials provided. the warm welcome from the host, Svetlana, added to our memorable experience. the house had all the necessary amenities like a state, of, the, art TV, washing machine. the location was ideal, with plenty of eateries and supermarkets nearby, and a stunning balcony overlooking the cathedral spire and the picturesque hills.

The wifi in the rooms was a bit unreliable, and we struggled to get the TV working smoothly.
